Our Roots
American Stalls was founded in 2005 as the equestrian division of a family ownership group owned by the Balasaria family. This family business ownership group has operated world class steel manufacturing businesses ever since 1994. The family has 30 years of expertise in building the highest quality products for industries such as steelmaking, mining, construction, fencing, and electrical powerline transmission.
American Stalls was ultimately founded in 2005 as the equine division of the family business ownership group. In 2006, however, it became its own standalone brand to provide the highest quality products and best customer service to equestrians.
Our First Project
In 2005, our first ever project was a 1,500 horse stall project for HITS Horse Shows in Saugerties, New York. In this project, our team helped build semi-portable horse stalls for the well-known hunter jumper horse show venue. This was our first foray into the equestrian industry. American Stalls began to build the highest quality commercial horse stall systems for large horse shows, expo centers, and fairgrounds in the United States.

- Steel Products – All of our hardware utilizes 304 stainless steel or industrial-grade aluminum. This allows our latches, hinges, and other high-touch points to be be durable and practical in a horse barn.
- Steel Dutch Doors – While other companies use an angled frame, we use a cold-rolled 10-gauge frame for our Dutch Doors. This makes for the strongest Dutch Door in the entire industry that also is versatile in terms of fit to different barn sidings.
- Steel Products – On our custom horse stall products, our 1" bars primarily feature hidden concealed welds. This provides for a clean, crisp aesthetic that protects against daily barn rigors.
- Warranty – We offer industry-leading warranties for all of our products. That includes a 5 year limited structural warranty on our custom steel products, lifetime warranty on our sliding track systems, and long-term warranties for our various flooring products.
- Fencing – Our HDPE Fencing utilizes 100% virgin plastic to ensure the highest quality HDPE fencing for farms.
- Made in the USA & Canada – All of our custom steel products, Rubber Pavers, Rubber Mats, HDPE Fencing, and Barn Lighting are all proudly built in the USA. Our Stall Mattress Systems are built in Canada.
