Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Eureka, Montana, this quintessential 8-stall center aisle barn oozes character and charm. It blends rustic charm with modern equestrian design. Once you step inside, our client's selection in our custom components are on full display at every turn.
The harmony between form and function is immediately apparent, with our custom-crafted horse stall components featured prominently throughout the barn. The barn’s design not only provides comfort for the horses, but also captures the spirit of Montana’s rugged beauty.
Upon entering, your eyes are naturally drawn to our striking Custom European Stall Fronts. Each stall front is custom-built to order and built to our client's needs. These Stall Fronts showcase an elegant bent swoop design at the top, paired with vertical lumber in-fill at the base. This offers a perfect balance between tradition and practicality.
The Stall Fronts also include a convenient Feed Hole Opening which allows our client the ease of feeding from the comfort of the aisle. Lastly, raw materials include our pre-galvanized steel for ultimate protection against rust. It is then finished with our polyester-based powder coating in a black finish, delivering both style and longevity.
The thoughtful design extends beyond aesthetics. Each horse stall system includes our Kit Partitions, providing full privacy for the horses. These partitions feature U-channels which are used to frame out the Stall Partition - allowing lumber to easily slide into place. Once the lumber and u-channels are installed, Wall Stiffeners are used to add additional bracing on both sides of each stall partition. This adds durability and support.
This Kit Stall Partition was a wonderful way to balance costs in this project as opposed to our Fully Welded Stall Partitions. The Full Privacy Partitions ensure that every horse can relax in its own space, offering a sanctuary-like environment. This is especially during the cold Montana winters where turnout is limited and horses spend extended periods of time inside the barn.
Note: You can learn more about our Stall Partitions in this helpful blog post.
Our StableComfort Horse Stall Mattress is another highlight of this barn, and they play a crucial role in enhancing the horses’ comfort. Each horse stall in this barn includes a luxurious, comfortable stall mattress. Given Eureka’s location near the Canadian border, where winter temperatures can be harsh, these mattresses provide a warm, cushioned surface that mimics the feeling of being outdoors. By alleviating pressure on joints, the mattresses create an environment where horses can rest and recover with ease, especially when they spend extended time indoors during snow and rain. You can learn more about the various benefits of our Stall Mattresses in this helpful blog post.
To complement the European Stall Fronts and Stall Mattress and tie it all together, the barn is also outfitted with our black Rubber Pavers along the center aisle. These pavers not only add a touch of rustic elegance but also provide essential traction during Montana’s wet and snowy seasons. The rubber pavers ensure safety for both horses and their handlers, while their timeless aesthetic enhances the overall ambiance of the barn.
Whether it’s the beautifully crafted stall fronts, the luxurious stall mattresses, or the practicality of the rubber pavers, this Montana barn reflects a perfect union of comfort, craftsmanship, and equestrian care. Each custom feature has been thoughtfully selected to enhance both the well-being of the horses and the barn’s functional design, ensuring that it remains a sanctuary for its equine residents through every season.
